Introduction

PTV User Group Meeting is a unique platform which brings in the best of the traffic planning and engineering expert experience including academicians, consultants and software developers to a common platform to demonstrate and advice various aspects of transport simulations for developing countries like India.

With the ongoing infrastructure revolution in India, Micro and Macroscopic traffic & pedestrian simulation tools have become one of the most important tools for evaluating the feasibility and functionality of any transport and pedestrian infrastructure proposal.

To address this need, you are invited to the first PTV Vision Indian User Group Meeting in Delhi. This forum will focus on various aspects of developing simulation environment for Indian heterogeneous traffic conditions.

The Meeting will take place at the Hotel Connaught in New Delhi and will provide you with essential ideas for your daily work. Besides introducing the advanced features of VISUM and VISSIM in Indian Context, we will give selected project presentations to highlight the latest trends, methods and procedures used in state-of-the-art traffic planning and simulation tool.

A detailed program will soon be available.

Would you like to contribute to the success of the User Group Meeting by giving a presentation? Click here for the Call for Papers.
